Have you encountered something in your history classes before that left you confused? Narrate your specific experience.

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

Yes.

Explanation:

Yes, I encountered something in the history classes that make me confused so much that I can't able to solve it. That confusion make me so stressful that I  stuck in that problem and can't do anything further. That confusion is responsible for the wasting my valuable time. Sometimes history classes give a great stress to an individual which leads to wasting time.

Answer 2

My confusion in history class was based on the actions of Neville Chamberlain when he kept appeasing Hitler.

Neville Chamberlain was the British Prime Minister from 1937 to 1940 and he believed that if Adolf Hitler was simply allowed to take some territory, he would not go to complete war with other countries.

Because of that, Neville negotiated for Hitler to:

bring German soldiers back into the Rhinelandannex Austria and make Germany bigger annex the Sudeten region of Czechoslovakia

When he did the last on, Hitler simply went ahead and took over the rest of Czechoslovakia.

Hearing this in my history class really confused me because I felt that anyone could see that Hitler was playing Chamberlain for a fool. My confusion disappeared however, when it was made evident that Chamberlain was simply playing for time so that Britain would get ready for war.

In conclusion, Appeasement may have seemed like an ignorant policy at the time but history has been kind to it.

how did the emphasis on culture wars during the 1988 election help cause polarization? respond to the prompt in two or three sentences

Answers

Answer:

Explanation:

The emphasis on culture wars during the 1988 election helped cause polarization by framing political debates around divisive social issues such as abortion, gay rights, and religion. This led to a more "us vs. them" mentality, where people became more entrenched in their political beliefs and less willing to compromise or work across party lines. As a result, political polarization increased, making it harder for lawmakers to pass legislation and work together to solve the country's problems.

Which of the following is the impact of the case Brown vs Board of Education of Topeka in United States of America?

Answers

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Brown v. The Supreme Court declared unanimously that the Constitution's Fourteenth Amendment was broken by racial segregation in public schools. Separate educational facilities for white and African American pupils were deemed to be fundamentally unequal in a 1954 ruling.

What effect did the case of Brown v. Board of Education have?

There is still considerable work to be done, and the Brown ruling did not instantly change the nation. However, eliminating segregation in the country's public schools served as a significant stimulus for the civil rights movement and made advancements in the desegregation of housing, public places, and institutions of higher learning possible.

What was the impact of Brown v. Board of Education on the economy?

The findings imply that black men from southern birth cohorts born in the 1920s would have made 6 to 9 percent more in 1970 if they had attended "equal" institutions of higher learning. Income would have been 2 to 5 percent greater for black men born in the South in the birth cohorts of the 1930s.

Who does the artist believe really carries the burden of white imperialism and colonization? What details in the cartoon lead you to this conclusion? Provide a response of 75 to 100 words.

Answers

The artist believes that he actually carries the burden of white imperialism and colonization through the use of the question mark after the cartoon, whose phrase is "The White Man's Burden".

The use of the question mark helps with the ambiguity of the message, that is, it leads the reader to doubt whether it really is a burden to be a white man during the period of colonialism, since historically the most affected during this period were the natives, who were enslaved and had their land taken.

How does the charge induce ambiguity?

Through drawing and writing techniques, the author seeks to reflect on the consequences of imperialism and colonialism, as a satire on the thought that Europeans carried a burden during colonialism. It is possible to perceive this idea through the image of Westerners carried on the backs of workers.

Therefore, the question refers to Rudyard Kipling's 1899 poem "The White's Man Burden: The United States and the Philippine Islands" about reflection on white supremacist ideas in the period of imperialism.

A good is said to be "economic" if it is helpful to people but is also difficult to come by given the demand for it. In contrast, free goods—like air—are always available and don't require any deliberate effort to obtain. Private goods are items that people own and use regularly, such as televisions, couches, wallets, cell phones, and nearly anything else that isn't a food item. Any good that is eventually consumed rather than employed to create another good is known as a consumer good or "final good." A consumer good such as a microwave oven or bicycle is an example of an intermediate good, whereas the parts supplied to make those things are final or consumer goods. Transistors or textiles, for instance, can be used to create some additional commodities. The term "commercial goods" refers to tangible commodities that are produced and then made accessible for supply to be used in a commercial industry. Lincoln had expressed opposition to the expansion of slavery into new territories, which was a key issue for Southern states that relied on slave labor for their economies.
