Infinite generativity is a characteristic of human language that refers to the ability to create an endless number of meaningful sentences using a finite set of words.
This is achieved by combining and recombining words and grammatical structures in new and creative ways, allowing speakers of a language to express a virtually infinite range of ideas and concepts.
This is a unique feature of human language and distinguishes it from other forms of animal communication, which are generally limited in their expressive capacity. Therefore the correct answer is B. infinite generativity.

A Good Day for a Bad Decision
Have you ever noticed that some people always seem to make the right choices? They may be the person who always picks the right pitch to swing at, or the one who always picks the pair of shoes that quickly become a popular fad. On the other hand, some people never seem to make a good decision. They may be the kids who ride a bike down a steep hill and crash into a bush or the ones who step to the edge of a sidewalk in time to get splashed by a car. How do some always seem to be living the good life while others seem doomed to misery? Is this just a matter of luck?
While luck probably has something do with it, the better explanation may be that the two groups have differences in the development of their brains. You see, most adult humans use their cerebral cortex to make decisions. The cerebral cortex is the part of the brain in the front of your head that deals with how you perceive the world and respond appropriately. It also helps you control your impulses. This part of the brain is still growing and developing connections well into your adult years. So for young adults and teenagers, the decision-making center of the brain is not completely formed yet.
At the same time, the teenage brain is also experiencing growth in another part of the brain—the amygdala (a-mig-dala). This part of the brain is responsible for emotions. Specifically, the amygdala talks to other parts of the brain about events related to rewards and fear.
In essence, our emotional brains are having growing spurts and our impulses are out of control at the same time our cerebral cortexes are not finished growing. We simply don't have the tools to control those emotions and impulses. As a result, teenagers feel overly emotional and wishy-washy when it comes to decisions. This development cycle is one reason society doesn't consider children to be adults until after they are 18. Biologically, the teenage brain is not generally ready for adult decisions.
So the differences between those who seem to make good decisions and those who seem to make bad ones may be fewer than you think. In fact, if you study the people you think make only good decisions, you will likely find they also make some catastrophically bad ones as well. A person's ability to make a good decision increases with age and experience though we all develop at different rates. While you are young, you may want to take advantage of those around you with bigger cerebral cortexes: adults. Their advice may be just what is needed to counter your amygdala.
Which line from the text most clearly explains the main point of the introductory paragraph? (1 point)

Why did Indigenous students begin the 1969 Alcatraz occupation? to protest the US government’s unfair treatment of Indigenous tribes to prevent the construction of a telescope on Mauna Kea to protect the region’s water supply from oil pipeline construction to protest the US government’s refusal to grant them US citizenship
Indigenous students begin the 1969 Alcatraz occupation to protest the US government’s unfair treatment of Indigenous tribes. Hence, option (a) is correct.
Give a brief account on Alcatraz occupation.89 Native Americans and their sympathisers occupied Alcatraz Island for a duration of 19 months as a form of protest. Richard Oakes, LaNada Means, and others served as the protest's organisers, with John Trudell acting as its spokesperson. Until the U.S. authorities forcibly put an end to the protest, the group cohabited the island together. Indians of All Tribes (IOAT) was the protest group's choice for a name. All retired, abandoned, or out-of-use federal land, according to IOAT, must be given back to the Indians who originally lived there in accordance with the terms of the Treaty of Fort Laramie between the United States and the Lakota tribe. Many Red Power activists believed that the island was eligible for an Indian reclamation because Alcatraz Penitentiary had been shut down on March 21, 1963, and the island had been declared surplus federal property in 1964.

Infant baptism was disapproved of by the Anabaptists. Some wished to hasten the Day of Judgment through violence. While many advocated for religious tolerance and the separation of church and state, others desired to destroy private property.
The majority of Anabaptist sects were pacifists who opposed using force to uphold social order or wage war. They also refused to take oaths, especially those to civic authority. They were constantly hounded for their baptismal doctrines and the alleged threat they posed to the political system. Another division in the Christian Church resulted from the Protestant Reformation of 1517, which was a significant dispute with the authority and methods of the Catholic Church. when sparrow refers to 'loss of stateness' as a potential risk of reliance on private policing, he most likely means?
When Sparrow refers to 'loss of stateness' as a potential risk of reliance on private policing, he most likely means that there will be a breakdown of the state's monopoly over the use of force, and this can lead to a loss of legitimacy and effectiveness in governance.
What is meant by the loss of stateness?
The term 'stateness' refers to the degree to which a state is in charge of its territory and can enforce its rules and regulations, maintain order, and ensure the safety of its citizens. Private policing, on the other hand, refers to the practice of using private security firms to provide law enforcement services rather than relying solely on public police forces. According to Sparrow, if private policing is over-relied upon, it could pose a risk to the state's monopoly over the use of force, which is one of the defining features of a state.
When this happens, the state is weakened, and it loses its legitimacy and effectiveness in governance. In addition, the state is unable to ensure the safety and security of its citizens, which is its primary responsibility. The loss of stateness, according to Sparrow, can lead to a variety of problems, including increased corruption, lawlessness, and instability. Private policing, on the other hand, can be beneficial in certain situations, but it should not be viewed as a substitute for public policing.
Sparrow argues that private policing should be viewed as a supplement to public policing and should be subject to the same standards of accountability and transparency. In summary, Sparrow's concern is that over-reliance on private policing can lead to a loss of stateness, which can undermine the effectiveness and legitimacy of the state.

Does a place called Tartary really exist? Give information about it
Answer:
Tartary or Great Tartary was a historical region in Asia located between the Caspian Sea-Ural Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Tartary was a blanket term used by Europeans for the areas of Central Asia, North Asia, and East Asia unknown to European geography.
Knowledge of Manchuria, Siberia and Central Asia in Europe prior to the 18th century was limited. The entire area was known simply as "Tartary" and its inhabitants "Tartars". In the Early modern period, as understanding of the geography increased, Europeans began to subdivide Tartary into sections with prefixes denoting the name of the ruling power or the geographical location. Thus, Siberia was Great Tartary or Russian Tartary, the Crimean Khanate was Little Tartary, Manchuria was Chinese Tartary, and western Central Asia (prior to becoming Russian Central Asia) was known as Independent Tartary.
European opinions of the area were often negative, and reflected the legacy of the Mongol invasions that originated from this region. The term originated in the wake of the widespread devastation spread by the Mongol Empire.
The adding of an extra "r" to "Tatar" was suggestive of Tartarus, a Hell-like realm in Greek mythology. In the 18th century, conceptions of Siberia or Tartary and its inhabitants as "barbarous" by Enlightenment-era writers tied into contemporary concepts of civilization, savagery and racism.

Realist: Power dynamics drive dominance. Liberal: Benefits of diversity and cooperation. Constructivist: Socially constructed, potential for change. Replacement possibilities vary.
The dominance of sovereign nation states in the international system can be attributed to various factors. The Liberal perspective sees nation states as crucial for protecting individual rights, promoting diversity, and facilitating cooperation through institutions.
Constructivists argue that the dominance of nation states is a result of social constructs, including shared norms and identities.
