5. How do paragraphs 26-28 contribute to the development of
ideas in the text.
The paragraphs contribute to the theme by showing that religious intolerance cannot be the lesson learned from the September 7 attack.
Why do the paragraphs focus on this?Because they show that not all Muslims are extremists.Because they show that Muslims are an important part of the American population.Because they show that those responsible for the terrorist attack do not represent the Islamic religion.The author of the article states that the 9/11 attacks were terrible and left the entire American and world population saddened by the number of deaths and families affected.
These attacks were attributed to extremist Muslims and this generated a wave of religious intolerance across America, causing all Muslims to suffer severe prejudice that prevented them from exercising their rights as American citizens.
For this reason, the author reinforces that religious intolerance is a type of violence and that this cannot be the lesson that that attack left for America, because Islam does not represent terrorists and many Muslims are a special part of American society.

Learning style theory can be traced back as far as ancient Greece when Aristotle observe the differences in children’s use of what skill
Although Aristotle observed individual differences in children's abilities and inclinations, the specific concept of learning styles and their application in education did not originate from ancient Greece
While it is true that the concept of learning styles has been a subject of interest throughout history, the specific notion of identifying different learning styles and tailoring education accordingly does not have its roots in ancient Greece or Aristotle's observations.
The modern understanding of learning styles emerged in the 20th century. Aristotle did observe and write about individual differences in children's abilities and inclinations, but he did not categorize them into distinct learning styles.
Instead, he focused on the development of character and intellect, emphasizing the importance of observation, experience, and reasoning in education.
The idea of learning styles gained prominence in the 1970s when researchers such as Howard Gardner proposed theories like multiple intelligences, suggesting that individuals have different strengths and preferences for learning.
This laid the foundation for further exploration into learning style theories and their application in educational settings.
Therefore, while Aristotle made valuable contributions to education and the understanding of human development, the identification and categorization of learning styles as we know them today emerged much later in history.

When light passes from one medium into another, its speed typically changes and consequently, its wavelength, as well, with its frequency remaining unchanged.
The index of refraction, n, of a medium is defined as the ratio of the speed of light in that medium, v, to the speed of light, c, in a vacuum; that is, n = c/v.
Recalling the relationship involving wavelength, frequency and propagation speed, now imagine that red light (frequency ~4.3x1014 Hz) with a wavelength of ~700 nm in a vacuum, enters a glass block. You determine that its wavelength in the glass shortens to ~467 nm. You can then conclude that the index of refraction of the glass for that red light is
The index of refraction of the glass for that red light is 1.5
What is index of refraction?
The index of refraction, n, of a medium is defined as the ratio of the speed of light in a vacuum, c , to the speed of light, v, in the given medium, v.
Mathematically, the index of refraction is given as;
n = c/v
where;
c is the speed of light = 3 x 10⁸ m/sv is the speed of light in the mediumFor a given wavelength of light in a glass as 467 nm, the speed of light in the glass is calculated as follows;
v = fλ
where;
f is the frequency of the light which is constant = 4.3 x 10¹⁴ Hzλ is wavelength of light in the glass = 467 nm = 467 x 10⁻⁹ mv = (4.3 x 10¹⁴ Hz) x (467 x 10⁻⁹ m)
v = 2.0 x 10⁸ m/s
The index of refraction of the glass for that red light is calculated as;
